[SOLVED] CPU Clock Heavily Fluctuating while pc is idle, is this normal?

Solution
Yes. The CPU lowers clock speeds when there's nothing to do, but Windows always has something to do for house keeping and seeing if something needs attention. So once in a while it'll do that, and that's where the spike in CPU speed comes from.

Hmm.. interesting. I've tried setting the pc power settings mode to high performance and it seems to max out the CPU clock at all times, do you recommend me setting the pc power mode to high performance? (windows 11)
