Hi. All software (HWMonitor, CPU-Z) and BIOS show CPU Core Voltage of 2.7 V. But CPU has good temperatures.

According to Forums, at 2.7 V Core Voltage, CPU must be dead. But it is working, the only problem is that when I play games, games crash. But I can close the games and PC is still running. When it turns on it says "CPU Over Voltage Error", but if in BIOS - > Monitor _> I set to ignore CPU Core voltage monitoring, pc boots.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600g

MOBO: Asus TUF Gaming B550M-Plus.

  1. Is there any chance that it is a sensor error (because at 2.7V CPU must be dead)?
  2. Why my game is crashing? In CS GO game just freezes, I can close it by clicking to icon and press "Close". In Valorant, game freezes and says graphics card crashed.
  3. If it is a sensor error, how can I now my real CPU Core Voltage without hardware test?

it is incorrect sensor reading, but if cpu voltages cant be monitored in reliable way, then you should replace your mainboard to avoid burning something
Thanks for fast reply. If Ryzen Master gives correct values, why then my games are freezing after some time? Appreciate your answer, mate.

There's no way that your core voltage is 2.7V because it would've fried your CPU the first time that you turned it on. Core voltages tend to be between 0.9V and 1.3V with some CPUs being capable of holding 1.5V when overclocked (but even 1.5V can still easily kill a CPU). No modern CPU can take 2.7V without instant catastrophic damage.
