CPU Fan - dusty and dirty

Well, again, I may not have been replying to anything specifically you said personally, but generally to the thread. When I was saying to not use a brush, I meant to not use a brush on the board. I still think it is not a good idea to use a brush, but if you keep in mind it can cause problems and be careful then it's better than using a vacuum brush and just rubbing it around on the motherboard like I bet some people will do.

My fault if I'm confusing the issue with varying replies.
 
I put my whole unit in the dishwasher and it came out looking awesome. Of course, we have a lot more sun in Australia, so it's easy to leave it out in the sun for a while to dry. Of course, mine's now been out there six months and it still won't boot, but ah heck me it looks awesome.

I can't believe this thread. Vacuum it, blow it, suck it...lick the bloody thing clean if you want, just get on with it, plug it back in and get back to work.
