Hello guys. Today I ran intro a problem that I can't seem to solve.

Specs:
I7-8700
Asrock B360M-HDV

Today when I turned on my PC I noticed my CPU fan is stuck at 1050 RPM (the stock one), if I change the configuration using the BIOS fan tunning program it simply doesn't work. Using any kind of windows program won't work either. If I put the CPU under stress it won't change its speed even if the CPU is at 90ºC. Usually when you start the PC the fan goes 100% and then it lowers its RPM to match the configuration: well, that doesn't happen anymore. I've done a clear CMOS, cleaned the pins and remove dust. I have absolutely no idea what else to do. CPU, fan, mobo and memory are just 6 months old.

Thank you guys.

Give it a good air spraying on the fins, and pins slot. I know you said you cleaned it but give it another good cleaning and get out any dust in the nooks and crannies, along with the pin slot. If it dosnt work then I would try another fan see if its the fan or something else.

Hi mate. I just cleaned it again, and updated the BIOS too. But no luck.

EDIT:

Solved: The motherboard CPU_FAN1 is dying or at least it has something broken. Plugged the fan into CHASIS_FAN2 and it works perfectly. I don't understand why it's broken tho.
