FYI: what you were showing in task manager wasn't temperature, but CPU usage. Some how the 500gb SSD version of Windows is limiting the CPU.
For the 500gb or 128gb cause I have to open the laptop and switch the ssd out everytimeInstall HWINFO64 and use that to monitor your PC.

I downloaded all the drivers from "Intel drivers an support assistance"Hold off on that for a quick second.
Have you installed all the correct drivers for your laptop on the new SSD with the new install of Windows? You can get them directly from Lenovo.
one more thing for my 128gb SSD i used the same usb on my 500gb SSD and i didnt need to install drivers on my 128gb SSDTry installing the drivers found on Lenovo website
i just did it and it says "No driver updates are required for your machine. "Try installing the drivers found on Lenovo website
