Question Cpu light after upgrading

Hello,

So I have a b450m gaming plus motherboard. I recently got a ryzen 5600 for Christmas and I decided to update bios for compatibility. My old cpu was a 2600 and after updating the bios, everything booted up fine with my old cpu installed. I then performed the swap to my new cpu, powered everything on, and got a debug light. I swapped to my old cpu just to see if that would work and that doesn’t work either. I’m confused because everything was fine after the bios update until I swapped cpus, now the computer doesn’t boot. I’ve tried removing the cmos battery and shorting the pins and nothing works. All my connections are secure.

I had this happen to me, what I did was reseated the memory and make sure they are inserted into the proper A1B1A2B2 slots for compatibility and performance. Worth a try

I tried that, but it didn’t work. I just ended up getting a new board that supported my cpu out the box, so I’m back in action. Thank you for assisting though.
