Sup guys~
Just wondering,
I have an overclocked E8400 running at 3.6 [400 x 9]
but I'm just sitting here looking at Core Temp [the application] and watching my Core's [#0/#1] frequency changing...
looks like this at first:
[-] Processor #0
[-] Core #0
- Frequency: 2400.03MHz (400.01 x 6.00)
- Bus Speed: 1600.02MHz (400.01 x 4)
- etc...
[-] Core #1
- Frequency: 2400.03MHz (400.01 x 6.00)
- etc...
then changes to:
[-] Processor #0
[-] Core #0
- Frequency: 3600.05MHz (400.01 x 9.00)
- Bus Speed: 1600.02MHz (400.01 x 4)
- etc...
[-] Core #1
- Frequency: 3600.05MHz (400.01 x 9.00)
- etc...
Keeps changing back and forth while I'm looking at it...
is this normal? or is it a motherboard feature? like power saving or something?
thanks in advance~
