Arug...

Now its slow to open anything. But once one program is opened, it runs at a normal speed.... Wassup??

My virtual mem is 800/800 and execesive paging is disabled...

should i go 300/300? or else the windows recommanded 1.5G/1.5G?

Or is there anything about drivers?

As that the last time i had the 6800GT 77.72 driver it first made my computer response slower in win xp and then BSOD (but i think BSOD was because of the Ntune and Nfirewall and IDE controller)

is there a driver that i could get that seems to not have this problem?

You have a switch to turn on but no lights?

how did you get spyware so fast? I recomend you using firefox or something. a lot of anti spyware programs do not work too good. its better just to prevent it.

This has nothing to do with MS, it is all to do with your lack of knowledge on PC building / setting up. Sorry, but face facts.

'tis sad, but true. Your lack of knowledge and experience is what's causing most (if not all) your problems).

Here's a tip for ya:

Slow down. reset your BIOS so everything is stock speeds. Don't overclock anything. Re-install windows.

Leave it stress-testing, make absolutely sure it's 100% stable. Use it/stress-test it for at least a few days. If you don't get a single crash then you can assume it's stable and start from there.

Don't suddenly whack all the settings up. If you have a problem you'll have no idea what's caused it. The proper approach is to change only one thing at once, test it out, then move on to something else...

The key thing to remember, is take your time. You seem to have launched into this far too quickly. I've built dozens and dozens of PCs, but I still take just as long to put them together as I always have, because it's easy to rush and miss something that could give you real problems later.

On the plus side though, I've always found the 'trial by fire' approach is the best way to learn stuff properly.

So my advice would be to start again, and aim to get a stable computer before you aim for a world-dominating uber-computer.

Exactly my thought, its ok to be learning, you just have to take your time and take the proper angle!
We gave him this advice a few pages ago, and so far he's doing better or less worst lol!

Anyway take it easy holy, I told you women dont like 15 years old Bald guys. Either that or you'll have stomach problem, eczema or whatever but I assure you this stress is goin to come out one way or another...just hope it wont be erectile problems!

Asus P4P800DX, P4C 2.6ghz@3.25ghz, 2X512 OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8, MSI 6800Ultra stock, 2X30gig Raid0

If memory serves the sorts of erectile problems at age 15 would require 'Anti-Viagra' to cure them...

lol...

Well now could i have gotten a bad copy of half life 2 demo, empire earth 2 demo, and the delta force's demo? Because Unreal tourment and warhammer dawn of war installs. While i will try ds2 again and ust leave it instead of trying to end the thing...

BTW founded out that my HDD was hot last night, i had it on a national geographic and when I went to pick it up (it was making constant noise, which I assumed to be access noise) and i had nothing on... so i pu my 120 mm right in front of it to hope to solve the problem. IS this normal for a SATA drive to heat up so much?

This morning when i came in (after running full night of emule, which is pretty light) it was cool

I will wait till the afternoon to see what is going on with the HDD

The Seagate is the hotter, but they both run really hot.

Having an intake fan blowing air over your HDDs is a good idea, but don't do it at the expense of the exhaust fan.

I have 1x120mm intake blowing over the HDDS, and 1x120mm exhaust in my rig.

Without any cooling HDDS do get worryingly hot though, so yours isn't abnormal.

Recommendation:
All selected physical diagnostics passed.

If you are not experiencing data loss and SeaTools reports File
System Structure errors, they may be caused by a lock-up or
failure to shutdown Windows correctly. Many times, these errors
may be repaired through normal system maintenance which
includes using the Windows provided "Defrag" and
"Scandisk / Chkdsk / Error Checking" utilities.

If you are experiencing a hardware error, you should isolate
the cause and replace the failing component. If you are unsure how
to proceed with repairs, contact a computer professional. After
completing any maintenance tasks, run SeaTools again to
verify that all errors have been repaired. If errors continue to
occur, the system may not be stable. Again, contact a computer
professional.
