[SOLVED] CPU or Graphics Card

Hi all

My graphics are starting to stutter when playing games like WoW. I've reduced the settings and frame rate which has helped but hasn't eradicated the problem. I've been advised to upgrade the CPU, motherboard and graphics card, which seems like quite a lot and is prohibitively expensive. It was working fine until recently and we have a second PC in the house with an almost identical spec (slightly better graphics card but not much) which isn't having the same problems.

CPU - Intel Core i5-6600k @ 3.5GHz
RAM - 16GB
Graphics Card - Radeon RX 480
Disk - 512GB SSD and 1TB HDD

I've run some testing using Techpowerup and CPUID Powerup monitor. Temperatures seem to be fine but the CPU is maxing out at times.

The company I bought the PC from are recommending the following:

1x Asus ROG STRIX B450-F Motherboard
1x AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 6 Cores, 4.2GHz
1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB Graphics Card

Does this seem like good advice and necessary upgrades? Are there any other trouble-shooting things I can try?

Thanks in advance!

What happens when you overclock the CPU? Does the FPS improve by a lot?
Then it might be time to upgrade the system, cpu, ram, mobo, maybe gpu.
If FPS doesn't improve much, time for a new GPU.
I assume 1080p resolution. Wouldn't want to run that card at higher resolution.

Hello. First of all, check your temperatures under load, in game, both for CPU and GPU. Verify if your CPU and GPU coolers are working. Set them to automatic mode or put it on a greater speed. Did you checked temperatures in-game with on-screen display or after gaming?
