I'm experiencing an issue with my AIO where occasionally on boot, I will hear my fans working extremely hard and I see that my temps begin to rise within the 75°-90° range where upon noticing I immediately restart my pc. I notice that after doing this it's as if I can hear the pump begin to work and make water noises, which then fixes the issue.

The several times that this has occurred, a restart fixes the issue instantly and I won't experience the problem for a few days which is rather confusing. While using my PC/Gaming, my temps are all within safe ranges and I don't run into any issues.

I have gone into the BIOS and made sure that my pump is running at full speed/power as I have seen others recommend to do here that have had similar issues as mine and also that my CPU fans are running at full power as well.

Specs in reference:

MoBo - GIGABYTE Z690 UD DDR4

AIO - Lian LI GALAHAD AIO 240mm.

CPU - Intel Core i7-12700KF

Apps I use to monitor temp are HWinfo 64 and occasionaly Gigabyte Control Center.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you are getting air bubbles near the pump. How do you have it installed? The last thing you want is the pump to be the highest point in the loop.

Hopefully the image uploaded but that’s what my setup currently looks like.

According to a few YouTube videos I’ve watched, it should be more then fine given my case layout and the fact that the pump is slightly lower then the top of the loop.

It shouldn't be a problem unless enough liquid has evaporated out to mean the tube into the pump can run dry.

Only remaining advice is to pick up your computer while off, rotate it in several different directions. Hopefully any air bubbles that are lingering can be dislodged. You can repeat this with the computer on if you like, it sometimes helps.

Beyond that, pumps and motors can fail, so keep an eye on it. If you are within the warranty period, consider reaching out to Lian Li.

Air bubbles are accumulating at the top of the radiator.
For front mounted radiator installation you should turn radiator upside down (hoses at bottom).

Alternatively you can also mount radiator at top of pc case.
I saw JayzTwoCents video on how they should be properly installed and the way mine is laid out in theory should be more then fine.

I’m going to try and tilt it as another user here mentioned and probably flip it as you have suggested. Hopefully that fixes the issue :\

So simply tilt it side to side? Is there something I’m supposed to hear when doing so or lookout for?
