I accidentally put my computer to sleep and now it doesn't want to bootup. Nothing came to the monitor, it seemed like it frozen as soon as I booted it because the keyboard num pad lights would flash and stay lit. So I unplugged it, reseated every component and now after I reseated my video card the card's fan stopped spinning when I now boot it and I get a CPU red light. It was all working beautifully before, not really sure what caused it.

Specs:
Amd 8350
ati 4770
4gb drr3 ram
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+

Solution
Try starting the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed. Make sure that both 24 and 8 pin power cables are properly connected (check both ends). See if still red CPU led.

I did what you said and both power cables were connected. With only the CPU and CPU fan/heatsink connected there was still a CPU_LED red light on the motherboard. This is very frustrating as it was working perfectly before for months. I tried resetting the BIOS by just taking off the CMOS battery but still no change. The video card fan still does not spin upon booting it up and still has no video going into the monitor. I forgot to mention that I did overclock my CPU but I always watched the temps and they never were higher than 60C under load.

Could it be the power supply? Or if it was the power supply would the computer not turn on at all? Like I said, the CPU_LED is red and the video card fan doesn't work but I forgot to mention the card still lights up.
