cpu stuck with the heatsink

i bought a new cooler master hyper 212x for my pc..
but to install it i need to remove the old stock one..and the old heatsink is just stuck with the cpu..
i tried using isopropyl alochol but no luck..
i tried using the hair dryer..and it also did not work..
plz suggest something else..

Put it again (lock the cpu on the mobo) turn it on for a few minutes, turn it off and take only the heatsink off (with the cpu on the socket).

Slide a razor in between the heatsink and cpu. Be ready to catch it. You should really have left the cpu locked in and removed the cooler first, though.

i cannot put it back as the heat sink comes in the way of the lock...i have a gigabyte 78lmts2p motherboard

so now i cannot turn on my PC any more until i remove the heatsink
