Cpu temps scaring me

Hi so when i play monster hunter world i my cpu tends to reach about 65-71 degrees is this normal?

i5 3470
gtx 960
12gb Ram
Using intel stock cooler fan

would further usage of cpu decrease its life span and performance

That temp is fine for that cpu.

Those temps are perfectly fine and normal for the stock cooler. The stock cooler isn't good but it is ok enough for that cpu. When you start getting to 80 you should look into why it's getting that hot but even that high is not damaging.

Okay thanks i might be replacing the stock fan soon because its really quite problematizing once your feeling the heat of the exhaust fans coming out lol thanks!

With a better cpu cooler that heat being exhausted will increase not decrease.
