I'd have to put in my vote for the
A8 7600 over the a10 6800k for the added GPU horsepower. It is slightly cheaper than the 6800k, but cannot overclock and loses a bit on raw CPU performance to the 6800 due to lower clock rates. But it also uses less power at 65 Watts (will run cooler) and is able to be configured to run at 45 Watts (will run a lot cooler) with only a slight loss in performance. If you don't mind spending a bit more, the
a10 7800 is a great choice for an entry level gaming system with an even stronger GPU in it and higher clocks than the a8 7600, though it is about $160. The stock heat sinks are able to keep them cool enough for everyday non overclocked use, but are quite loud compared to aftermarket ones. If you want an aftermarket one, the CM 212 EVO is excellent, but it is quite tall so make sure you measure the inside of your case to be sure it will clear. Cooler Master should have specs on their website that wil give you the dimensions of the cooler. If not, there are some good downdraft style coolers that will work well too. Here's one I've used a few times with great results.
