CPU upgrade

I currently have a dell inspiron with an x2 250, i would like to upgrade to a phenom ii x6 1045t for 150, i want to make sure tht it would work and would be a worthwhile upgrade. Also how big of a psu do i need if i only have a basic graphics card that came witht the system. Thanks for any replies.

Well check on Dell.com if it is compatible! The CPU's are the same socket and it is a 95watt tdp X6 so it would seem so! Just replacing the CPU is not going to call for PSU upgrade.
