I have a BLAZING FAST (not) :lol: hp pavilion 6630 now in my possession. It's original specs: 500mhz celeron, 64mb ram, 10.2gb hard drive, 100w psu, cdrw...running win98...
i have already upgraded the ram to 256mb.
i have an extra intel celeron 1.1ghz, and im wondering if i can put that cpu in there instead of the 500mhz. also, i would like to reuse the heatsink for the 500mhz one, because this computer is rather small and i think, just eyeballing it, that any bigger hsf would not fit due to the location of the psu, and while im talking about psus, would the upgraded cpu put too much stress on the cpu?
