CPU uses 50% at games/applications.

Hello.

So I got a new laptop few weeks ago. All games were running perfect and Sony Vegas was rendering videos with 2.90Ghz usage. But since yesterday games use much lower fps and Sony Vegas rendering at 1.15Ghz (Screenshot while rendering video: http://gyazo.com/17197c3554bf9b062b294ea8f50f9e80 )
I didn't switch anything in BIOS or power options.

Have you checked your power settings? One can set the CPU limit (as percentage) as max & min, perhaps it's maxed 50% or so.

This is one more problem. For some reason it automatically changes to 'power saver' mode (wasn't doing this either till yesterday) I always switch it back to 'balanced' or 'high performance'.

Also my power plan is switching automatically to 'power saver' after the start of laptop.

There is no option to turn it off. Searched the whole google and didn't found anything about turning it off.
