Hi,
My name is Chris and I have two questions that I could really use awnsers to. I have asked them to allot of places online and no-one can really seem to tell me exactly what I want to hear.
1st: I have a pentium MMX mainboard, an AMD K-6 300MHz CPU, and 128mb ram. I was wondering if I could just upgrade my CPU to a AMD K6 2 500 MHz with 3D NOW or better yet a AMD Athlon 900 MHz Thunderbird without having to buy a new mainboard.
Second: I have a Voodoo3 2000 16mb ram video card and as I mentioned above 128mb ram. I play allot of computer games they all seem to play OK but the frame rate is a little low and I am wondering if with a new and better CPU this would solve my problem. Thank-you all very much for your time and consideration. Hope some-1 can help me out.
