Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium no sound

Hello everyone today i bought a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium , i uninstalled my current audio drivers,and installed it into my rig.. booted up, installed drivers off Creative website, after rebooting i get sound and everything works, but when i change a setting in the creative control panel such as.. changing between modes (Entertainment, Gaming, Audio Creation) the sound shuts completely off, only thing that fixes it is a reboot, i uninstalled all audio drivers including my motherboards driver, but still no luck help would be appreciated

What's to explain.
Simply mute the volume before switching modes.
It's a known issue.

Alrighty, i muted sound before i switched, i switched from gaming to entertainment , sound went to 30% still no sound

Do you have your windows volume manager(icon) and all its options set-up for your default device(X-Fi Titanium)?

Yes Playback is Speakers Creative SB X-Fi, if i have music playing, it will have the green bar moving up and down, yet no sound

Chances are it's really something simple like a mute selected somewhere in settings.
Do any devices have a yellow exclamation in device manager?

i have a p67 not z68, and what driver would they both be under?

I'd start with these.
ASRock XFast USB Utility ver:3.02.28
Etron USB 3.0 driver ver:0.96_WHQL
INF driver ver:9.2.0.1015

Downloaded and rebooted, device manager yellow exclamations are gone, but changing modes still causes everything to mute

Here's my last stab at this ok.
Otherwise you have a problem beyond my expertise.
Download DS.

Dump everything Creative in add/remove
Run DS in safemode
Check off Creative
Analyze and clean
Reboot = normal
At this point i'd remove the soundcard
Put the card back in
What slot are you using? you might want to try another.
Download the appropriate drivers from Creative
Install as Admin
