[SOLVED] Crucial MX500, SATA or M.2?

Im going to buy Crucial MX500 SSD,
but im given 2 choices.
Same capacity (250), same price, but one is SATA and the other is M.2.

Which one is better? Speed, temps, lifespan?

m.2 sata is just form factor, it has nothing to do with speed/lifespan compared to sata 2.5" drive
it could have higher temperatures as theres no heatsink provided with it

You can install M.2 sata SSD only in second M.2 slot (M2_2) on motherboard. First M.2 slot (M2_1) doesn't support sata devices.
Also installing M.2 sata SSD will disable SATA3_3 port on motherboard.

Which one to choose 2.5" or M.2 ?
M.2 option is looks cleaner, doesn't require additional cables.
2.5" option has better compatibility, you can reuse in a different pc, that has no M.2 slot.
