Crucial UK Warranty process

I've been having some RAM issues recently, and phoned Crucial UK expecting a drawn out argument with them on the stick being faulty, and then a hassle trying to find receipts for proof of purchase.

How wrong I was. The guy on the phone was really helpful, I explained that I had tried one stick at a time and only one had been throwing up massive memtest86+ errors, and that was it, RMA arranged, and the new module is on its way.

I post this mainly because I am so impressed with the simple returns process. If only all computer companies could be run this way!

Had a similar experience a few months ago. It makes a refreshing change to encounter a customer service dept that actually provides customer service.

I agree (at least for the US division of Corsair); I had a bit of trouble with the online RMA program, but their *extremely* helpful operator got me the RMA# right away. Now if they would only improve their shipping turnaround time from 5 business days to the stated 48 hours, I'd be in nirvana!
