Hi

I am the product manager for 3D Vision at NVIDIA.

In a previous thread users were expressing frustration that the DirectX 11 patch broke 3D Vision. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/112352-13-crysis-dx11-patch-vision

Since the thread was closed I couldnt respond to it.

We know that Crysis 2 DirectX 11 doesnt work in 3D Vision with 275.33. We have fixed it with 275.50. I worked with Don, the reviewer who benchmarked Crysis 2 DX11 to verify its fixed. See his updated review here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/crysis-2-directx-11-performance,2983.html "(Update: We just had the chance to test with Nvidia's GeForce 275.50 beta driver, which works with 3D Vision and DirectX 11 together. So now you can enjoy Crysis 2 on the PC in a way you simply can't replicate on a console.)"

We have posted a KB article on our support site too http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3005

Please let me know if 275.50 fixes your 3D Vision issues with Crysis 2 DX11 mode.

Thanks.

Just tried it, and 3D vision is functioning perfectly in all of Crysis 2's DX11 glory. The performance boost with the beta drivers is insane, I'm getting 52 FPS with DX 11 and everything maxed at 1680x1050 with 3d vision on with a piar of 465s, I was barely getting 40 fps with 275.33 without 3D vision even on.

I'm curious about the Crysis 2 3D vision drivers. When the original DirectX patches came out, 3D vision had a much larger penalty hit than today, but the newer drivers make the IQ lower from what I can tell. The fact is, I've heard of people getting better performance in 3D vision than when they turn it off. If you guys purposefully lowered IQ for more FPS, I'd love to have a way to reverse it, as I have a very powerful setup, and would rather not have image quality lowered for 3D vision.
