Yea sorry to say Crytek is not getting another dollar after the crappy Crysis single player AI and crappy ending to match, with extremely poor hackerland multiplayer. The multiplayer was so promising too.. Its a shame.

Will your system run it? who gives a hoot.. Why don't you guys check out Bad Company 2 on steam. Its well worth the 29$ for the multiplayer alone.

no GPU upgrade for me till crysis 2 comes out :|..

i was hoping it'll come out early 2011, but seeing as it's pushed on to march, hmm' i'd be getting perhaps a hd7000/gtx660 by then (gtx500 would be a rebadged).

[citation][nom]dEAne[/nom]Oh no I can't wait that long.[/citation]

so what are you going to do about it!? are you going to freeze yourself until that day? are you going to kill yourself? are you going to cry? are you going to fly??

what will you dooooooooooooooooo?

Announcing release dates are pointless. Name 1 game that came out on its original or second release date that was playable. They might as well just ballpark it if they are more that 2 weeks from an actual release.

[citation][nom]WR2[/nom]There must have been some serious issues to make them miss the holiday sales period. That's a big 'red flag' for the suits who put up the money for the producers.[/citation]

Actually, it could be a strategic move to come out when there is a lull. Remember when Halo 3 came out, it was in October or something like that? There wasn't much else going on and it even blew away the movie sales that weekend.

[citation][nom]hardcore_gamer[/nom]7 months ![/citation]

Howd you get that figure?

November was the original release date, so that is 4 months delay.

EA was pushing for November release date, and Crytek told them to go do one, so they could release a polished game.

Eh, there are plenty of games coming out so I'm sure it won't seem as long. Better be worth the wait however and not just some marketing move! I would also like to see the story evolve and not just give another perspective.

Here's to hoping my OC GTX 280 will still do the job!

I don't see how this is a big deal, although I would have preferred it earlier. Have to say, Crysis for me wasn't all that fun, and I'm hoping this game will turn that around. Graphically amazing or not, that doesn't define a good game. If they are pushing it back, great, just make sure it's a freakin good, quality play.

If I remember correctly Cevat Yerli said that the requirements of Crysis 2 will be the same as the first game only it will run smoother. I hope they finally mastered the engine in Crysis, I mean the first game and the expansions looked awesome out of the box but there were a lot of tweaked configs made by other people which made the game look even more stunning, it clearly showed what a remarkable engine the Cryengine2 was.

Now that we have the Ati 5xxx and the GTX4xx series we will hopefully play the games without the suffering we endured on the first one. Plus, the later it comes the more we can afford any of these cards 😉
