Hello,
CAN CRYSIS 2 RUN ON DUAL CORE 2.5GHZ 2GB RAM WITH 9500GT 1GB RAM DDR2 MAX SETTINGS PLZZZZZZ TELL ME FROM ONE MSG PLLZZZZZ ALLLL

lol.you must be joking.Crysis 2 will bring that card to its knees even on low settings.To max the game out in dx10 at 1680X1050 resolution you will need a gtx 260,ati4870 level graphic cards and to max the game in dx11 you will probably need a gtx 570 level gpu.You will be able to run crysis 2 but only on low settings at a resolution of 800X600.Try getting a 5670 as its a minimum to play crysis 2 at medium settings.

I've been running the Crysis 2 demo at maximum settings @ 1680X1050 with a HD4830 512MB (overclocked to maximum in CCC) at about 43FPS.

The graphics on Crysis 2 have been 'dumbed down' for the consoles it seems. It looks nice, but could have been so much better.

crysis 2 is going to be a pile of crap, the demo is very underwhelming, the redesigned nano suit... NO. I'll get tired of being killed by a cloaked enemy standing right in front of me real fast... graphics do look dumbed down but no way you will be enjoying your experience with your 9500 gt/ weak dual core/ 2 gb of ram setup, better off trying to play minesweeper at 1080p on all high and 16xaa :)

I just recently acquired the first Crysis for my PC and discovered that i can play it on very high settings with 30+fps on a road, ~15fps in the middle of a gun fight(no anti-aliasing). It would most certainly be better im sure if i were to have your reccommended hardware here guys, just puttin this up here for people to see my setup and see what they can expect. Looking forward to playing Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2. Just recent was able to afford putting this pc together and I am backtracking and coming as far up as i can go with this cpu i have...i know its weak, but for now its all i could afford.

AMD Athlon x2 7850 black edition kuma(2.8ghz)
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1gb
6gb ram(4gb kingston hyper-x ddr2-800, 2gb kingston value-ram ddr2-667)
Antec EA-500 PSU(500w)
ASUS M4A785-M (motherboard)

^monitors resolution? it will no doubt be playable but just don't expect to have much more fps on crysis 2 then you are getting on crysis with very high settings and no aa at an unspecified resolution, I'd shoot for like 1280X1020 with high settings and no-AA and maybe raise the settings slightly from there if it is appropriate, why not OC that old black edition cpu you have? also remove the slow ddr-2 667 ram which is causing your ddr2 800 to run at a slower speed then it should, plus 4 gigs of ddr2 800 should be fine especially considering the rest of your system... in the end overclock your cpu and lower settings and if that is not satisfactory then... its time for an upgrade

Dude, nano vision is your friend lol. It's like IR vision and you can see cloaked guys no problem.

As for the question at hand from the OP: You need a major overhaul to turn that into a gaming rig.

@Wolfram23:::::

^ ha yeah you are right, its just not something that I want to have to worry about, I'm kind of a lazy fps gamer that prefers the simpler control approach. In fact in the forthcoming BF3 im personally not looking forward to prone just because of the wieners that will just lay on the ground and kill me over and over again.... lol, anyways I know I should just adapt but I'm not the big time game enthusiast I once was.. I find myself doing it more or less to build a machine that "can" produce silky smooth frame-rates on high settings and res. Overall, I was just a little disappointed that it ran a little slower then expected on hardcore at 1080p with my 6870 Crossfire setup so, I guess im just used to the classic old crysis :

@OP:::::
And yeah the OP will not be running any crysis game very smoothly, sorry OP

quick note: it is running at 1920x1080 on a 32 inch LCD TV....and I was told that if i put the 667 further away from my cpu with the 800 closest it would be fine (dont know the truth behind that). is the 667 really slowing my 800 down? and yes i know its time for an upgrade on my ram/cpu.

crysis looks so ugly at that resolution that you might as well play counter strike at native resolution will look better

How about this specs? Will Crysis 2 run great @ 1280x768 resolution?
GPU - MSI 6850 1GB
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black edition @ 3.4ghz
MOBO - Asus M4A89GTD PRO
RAM - CORSAIR XMS3 2x2GB DDR3 1600mhz
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

Other devices are not necessary for you I guess... :)

I'm pretty sure that because it's a 2gb and 4gb stick, you're only running single channel. You would need either 2x2gb or 2x4gb for dual channel. As for the speed, they're most likely running at 667. Both sticks. They cannot run at separate speeds, and the listed speed is not always the default speed. I'm not certain about DDR2 RAM but with DDR3, the highest JEDEC spec is 1333mhz so if you buy 1600mhz, 1800mhz and higher RAM, it's going to run at 1333mhz by default and you need to manually overclock the speeds to reach their rated value. I'm sure your 800mhz RAM is the same, but 667 might be a default speed.

Either way you can easily go into the BIOS and see for yourself, or even just use CPUZ in Windows.

well they are not going to run at two different speeds, imo the 2 gigs is not helping especially if its not dual channel

^+1 agreed that explains things

You should have no problem playing at 720p

Dont know if it matters, but the DDR2-667 is 2 1gb sticks, the DDR2-800 is 2 2gb sticks. DDR2 maxes out at 1200 oc'd from i see on other pages/forums. What I'm asking here i guess is if i should just take out the 2 1gb sticks of 667 and leave my 800 in or would it be in my best interest to leave it in there?

Ah so you have 4 sticks total? Ok then as long as you put a 2gb and 1gb stick in each channel, then you will still have dual channel memory. Going from 667mhz to 800mhz isn't going to make a big difference, but make sure it's at least at 667mhz!
