Question Csgo CPU problem?

My specs are as follows: 3070 GPU, i7-9700k CPU, 16 gb 2666Mhz Ram, 1440p 170hz Monitor. I've played csgo for a long time now but i've never realised how low fps i've been getting which is around 200-300. I watch other players play with worse specs and they are getting on average 400-500 fps. I read the other day that csgo is a very CPU dependent game, could the problem be the cpu?

In your context it would be more CPU dependant yes. Full disclosure I don't play it but 200 seems very low for a 9700K. have you checked your temperatures and sustained clock speed?
Are you using dual channel memory?

Drivers are up to date. Gpu is at 55 degrees and around 40% utilization. CPU between 60-70% utilization and 60 degrees. Ram on slots 2 and 4 at about 11gb usage out of 16.

Yes slots 2 and 4 are used. Cpu temp is at around 60 degrees and clock speed is at around 4.6 GHz

That sounds pretty good to me, and it stays at 4.6Ghz while playing CSGO, it doesn't drop?
