So i left my PC on overnight, and when i returned to it today, my Ctrl + V is not working as it should. In effect, actually pressing it does not paste anything *Unless* i let go of Ctrl before i let go of V.

I tried troubleshooting with ChatGPT before coming here hoping it was a quick fix.. but i am starting to gather it is not

PossibilityStatus
Faulty keyboard hardware❌ Ruled out (multiple keyboards tested)
Layout issues or regional input❌ Ruled out
Sticky/Filter keys❌ Disabled
Scancode remapping in registry❌ None present
Safe Mode environment❌ Still broken
Driver reinstall❌ No change
AutoHotKey override❌ Ineffective
Process Monitor detection❌ Ctrl+V isn’t even seen
Other Ctrl combinations (e.g., C)✅ Work normally
Right Ctrl + V✅ Works normally

Another note, incase it matters - If i enable the On-Screen keyboard, i can execute Ctrl + V without incident

What is the make and model of your keyboard? Have you tried working with another keyboard on your afflicted system? Using the culprit keyboard on another platform to rule out it's still functional?

What version(not edition) of Windows 11 are you on?

Keyboard is: HyperX Alloy Core RGB Keyboard
I have indeed tried it with other keyboards - none work on this PC, whilst this keyboard work on different PCs (When i say work i mean the Paste function)

My version is 10.0.26100 Build 26100
