I've aways used a falt monitor for gaming and browsing and stuff, but now I want to upgrade my monitor. I am looking now at a good prized monitor but it's curved. Some say surved monitor is better than flat but I honestly don't know.

What's your opinion guys? I appriciate it!

Solution
Entirely personal choice, personally I dont see the point in a curved monitor under a certain size/aspect ratio.
Unless its some super mega ultrawide monitor, curved is going to be a gimmick more than anything else. Curved is only viable (in my opinion) if its the only monitor you will ever use. One single, very wide monitor.

well its kinda true its a personal thing i have both a flat and a curved screen and i can say its nice u see things on the site of your screen better collors to i personal say its a plus

I have a cheaper 24" VA panel, an AOC C24G1 144hz w/ MBR, here is my take...

the good:
  • gaming performance is much better with 144hz
  • about the same input lag as an IPS monitor
  • color depth and contrast is MUCH better than TN (at least 3x the contrast ratio)
  • curved panel does add more immersiveness, although it is very slight at this size.

the bad:
  • the subpixel layout is not as good as TN or IPS, so its slightly more blurry (if you want productivity, IPS is better)
  • the anti-glare coating does add some graininess

Overall, a very good upgrade over my 8yo Acer TN panel for gaming since I prefer the better colors / contrast and 144hz. Productivity, not so much. If gaming is secondary, go for IPS. If you need ultra FPS, stick with TN.
