The more I read the more I got confused... Can I use my 2 Sticks of Crucial 128 MB 133 SDRAM with ECC. all the other specs are ok, But Can I disable the ECC in Bios and use it on this MB? Is this board a wise choice? I like all the features except the Onboard VIDEO. So many choices. WOW

ECC cost more and offers slower performance, so I wouldn't even bother with it. Memory is cheap, especially non-ECC. The onboard video is a non-factor-as soon as you plug in an AGP card it disappears. And it offers every overclocking tweak I've ever heard of. It also offers the ultimate in stability and compatability in a newer chipset (the BX was the former champ). I reseached the issue for months before buying mine, and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks Crashman for the info, I did not make myself clear I allready have the Dual 128 Sdram with ECC because I have the SE440BX-2 Board now and Intel recommended that I use ECC although you can disable it in Bios. I just have a limit of 600Mhz Cpu and I,m happy that you love your cusl2. I will purchase this board so that I can upgrade to 1 GIG and have DMA/100 4x AGP. Ok I wish there was no sound or Video but I can disable it I guess. Thanks again Crash..Oh by the way that don't mean that your Computer crashes all the time I hope. I will take other Suggestion for a Mb INTEL. CPU since I'm not into Overclocking. must support 1 Gig and have ATA EIDE DMA/100 Thanks

Now the bad news-the 815/815E/815EP chipsets only support 512MB RAM. For the best pereformance and compatability, that alone would limit you to using a different BX board, as they still outperform any VIA board available. Some of the newer ones support the 133MHz FSB, but at elevated AGP speed. Check out the Abit BX133 Raid for the best BX board.
