I just had an interesting encounter with a company that sells priter cartridges. I feel they have incredibly poor customer service and no one should purchase from people of their ilk. Check out the mail and tell me if I am overreacting. All of their responses were in Arial Font 14 in bold print (suggesting yelling).

I recently purchased inkjet printer cartridges from your company. The
invoice number is 16801. The 3 cartridges arrived properly and promptly to my residence. However, the 2 free black cartridges (I would like them of the same variety that I ordered---T007201) did not arrive with them. I
followed the instructions to the best of my understanding by inserting "2
Free Black" to the "Customer Comments and Special Instructions:" section of
the order. Please advise.

You need to read the offer, the items you purchased were NOT INCLUDED in the offer, just because you requested it in the order does not mean you will get the 2 free. The only customers which get the 2 free are the ones who purchased qualifying merchandise. YOUR ORDER DID NOT QUALIFY SO YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THEM.
PLEASE READ THE OFFER OR HAVE SOMEONE READ IT AND EXPLAIN TO YOU IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went back to your website and discovered my error. You have clearly excluded the cartridges I ordered and therefore I am not entitled to the free cartridges.
Is it your companies practice to insult your customer base when they have a question or problem (example: PLEASE READ THE OFFER OR HAVE SOMEONE READ IT AND EXPLAIN TO YOU IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO. ). If so how do you plan to stay in business. Are you the owner? If not who is your supervisor so that I may lodge a complaint.
No longer a happy customer,

When someone fails to read or read what they only want to read and then asks for free items, this is an insult to us. Therefore we are forced by you to send out such a firm reply. I am the owner. Find another company to buy ink from.

No problem. Note that I will be posting these messages in there entirety in the forums of all of the major tech sites (Anandtech, [H]ard-OCP, The Tech Zone, ect.). Your prices are good, and I would have been happy to do business with you again in spite of my error. But your customer service sucks. All you needed to do was cut the applicable statement of your web page and/or refer me to it to discover my error. You did not need to insult and alienate a new customer because he/she made a mistake.
Have a nice day,

Did I say or do something that warrated this type of response? I don't believe I did.
Note, I even kept my spelling errors intact (their entirety).
You have to be smarter than the machine.
