Computer for TV interface for XP - looking for a better way to use my computer on my TV?
So I'm looking for a better way to browse, watch, listen through my computer on my TV using XP. I have an Apple TV, Wii, laptops, iPad already. This computer, and TV in particular, are for a rarely used older tv with RCA inputs, from an older 3ghz HP with an RCA output that works fine, but the interface isn't what it could be. I run at 800 x 600 and crank up the text. I use RocketDock and put large shortcuts on top and essentially use it pretty basically with shortcuts to weather, Netflix, iTunes, YouTube, Hulu Desktop, Boxee +++. the desktop apps obviously work great but I can't help but wonder if there is a better way? I use "Mobile Mouse" and an onscreen keyboard but it's all a little hard to see.
Any tips? Kiosk programs or shell programs? Full screen firefox plugins or any ideas like that? This is an older computer with an older tv so I'm not really interested in anything "new" or for windows 7. I have that. This is specific for this setup.

Yeah I have all that at home too. The tv I use this on is a regular 27" tube tv, with a $50 HP to run it through it's RCA out. The tv and the computer aren't bad enough to throw away on a barley used setup to justify anything better. You dont need hi def for crap like that so it keeps the computer relivant i guess. A boxee box does boxee. An apple tv does apple. A computer does everything. I run LogMeIn on it to be able to see it once in a while. Crank up the fonts and add big buttons to the desktop and it makes it all easier. I still feel like I'm missing something.
