I dont want to change the text or the icon, but is there
a way to change the annoying green color of the start
button itself?
Becuase changing the style to silver doesnt affect the
start button?

well MK the xp color scemes blue, olive green and sliver will still be
kind of green no matter what. there are other ways to change the start
button one to change it to windows clasic ( like in windows 2000 and ME) or
windows standard (windows 95-98 SE) or to change the whole look of windows
with out affecting the windows OS is by www.windowsblinds.net and there
yhou can find all kinds of clolor scemes that will change it ( but you will
have to download a program)
