Hey there,

I was wondering on your input to my overclocking experiance of late :

On a late night excursion into the overclocking realms I pushed my Duron 600 up to 1GHZ without success, and then proceeded to come back down to 600, which NOW is the only speed that I can run windows at 🙁 anyway.....what has happened is that I cant boot from my Hard disk AT ALL!!! and even booting from a floppy is again a waste of time as it cant even load DOS because of the following error :

Not enough extended memory

Whats this all about then??? Any body got any clues as to how I might get around this??? or is it really too late???

Ive tried everything!!!! even flashing the Bios without success so any suggestions are more than welcome

TIA

what brand MEMORY and specs??? and how do you OC??? FSB or Multiplier????

are you sure you connect the L1 correctly? ex. if you set to 8x100 do you see 800mhz at startup bios??? if not the L1 not connected properly, and also make sure they don't interconnect.
