Hey,

I bought a gigabyte m/b 2 months ago and for the last 2 weeks date and time randomly resets to 1/1/1900. After a few minutes a certificate error comes up (usually when I play League Of Legends). Here is the picture with the certificate. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/l4e36h27tbcjzu1/Untitled.png?m=)
Whether i install it or not, or fix the date time, once it happens it changes every few minutes.

I even deactivated the automatic date/ time sync with the internet.
The CMOS battery is new. Could the battery be damaged or something?

Is there anything else i can do?
Windows updates are all installed.
When I press the issuer statement, the following site comes up : https://www.digicert.com/ssl-cps-repository.htm
Also updated the IE!

Regards!

I actually waited for a bit before answering to make sure that it worked, but this worked like a charm mate! It turns out that was the problem I had all along, since I've uninstalled the problem didn't even occur once.

Do you mean the year should be past 2036? If so, then no its ok when i manually set the date and then turn on the auto-sync.
and still it didnt help.
Anything else i could try?

I have a gigabyte motherboard and I am experiencing a similar problem. I've scanned all my hard drives including the system reserved folder yet nothing comes up. I've changed the CMOS battery and nothing changed. I still couldn't find a solution yet and it's a rather annoying problem.
