DDR...how does it work...

I am wondering exaclty how does DDR work?? Most articles mention that it transmits data on both the rising and falling part of the clock signal, but what is Transmitted?? A BIT, a BYTE, and instruciton(opcode) .....

First you need to understand DIGITAL SIGNAL TRANSFER, understand the inherent problems, other issues of RISING EDGE and FALLING EDGE. These can be found in BASIC DIGITAL TEXTBOOK.

What are transmitted? 1s and 0s, DIGITAL!!!!!! not bits and not bytes, not opcodes of whatever.

Digital computer we are talking about, using DIGITAL technology, not QUANTUM computer using QUANTUM technology!!!!!
