yes. 1333 and 1600 can actually be cheaper than some 1066 ram. Most boards will select the ram speed for you; even if it defaults at 1066, the extra speed gives you some room for overclocking the cpu and you can transfer it to other faster boards later. socket 775 wasn't designed for ddr3, so the speed difference over ddr2 is smaller. If you want to be safe, go to the webpage for your board and see if a memory qvl is available, giving you brands that are tested to work. some older boards have a limit of 2 gb per ram slot, so check the specs carefully before ordering.
