Hi everyone!

I recently bought Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz 4GB for my system. (Brand new out of the box)
My motherboard which is Asrock G41M-VS3 R2.0 could only support up to 1333MHz (OC) and the current ram i'm running on is also Kingston but 1333MHz 2GB.

I put my new ram stick, pushed it firmly and it clicked, booted my PC but there is no post whatsoever.
The pc boots just fine, but the screen is completely pitch black like it's turned off.
I have tried to swap the ram positions, yet no luck. I tried the new ram itself, still no luck!

I reset my BIOS settings and removed cmos battery for 1 minute, still black screen, can not boot to bios or do anything yet my pc is running.

Only problem i can sense is the ram frequency, could it be the cause or what?
If the ram frequency is the problem, would this one work? http://citycenter.jo/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_65_111_114&product_id=3653

Solution
Memory manufacturers currently sell high density DRAM which is not supported by your G41 Chipset motherboard. The memory the G41 Chipset motherboard uses is low-density memory which has been discontinued for several years.

For example, see what Kingston memory rep says in post here:

You can still find low-density memory sold on eBay.

Both new and old rams are from the same manufacturer(s), Kingston.
However, when I try to run the new ram only (1600MHz) the pc boots, but wont post.
The opposite goes for the old ram (1333MHz) the pc boots just fine no issues.

Is it the ram frequency that is causing this issue or is it something else?

Thank you for your answer!
Unfortunately, since ebay is not supported in my country, do you think this ram is low-density? http://citycenter.jo/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_65_111_114&product_id=3653

Read at the bottom "Older generation platforms, such as Intel LGA-775 and AM3 7-series systems, may not be supported."
