[SOLVED] ddr4 3600mhz running at 2133 mhz

Hi so I just noticed my ram was running at 2133 instead of 3600 mhz i must of forgot to set it up when i built the pc last christmas . so i just went into bios and changed it to 3600mhz and reset and had problems no signal to monitor and usb ports not working pc lit up fans ran ect so i removed cmos battery and then tried again now im back up working but ram is at 2133 mhz . I looked up my ram and linked it below along with my specs any help would be great

I just updated bios to latest version but have not tried to change ram frequency since doing that im worried this ram might not like amd but hoping someone knows cheers

CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 is the part number of the ram in cpuz

When you set the ram to 3600, did you do it by enabling xmp or just changing the frequency to 3600. You should be enabling xmp. Also its not uncommon for the computer to take longer to boot or even reboot a few times when trying to apply new memory timings.

it worked using something like xmp hdcp or something . Thanks
