Hello!
I have a Toshiba P300 2TB HDD, which this morning broke, i think. Because Whenever I turn on the PC, I can hear 4 beeps. If i unplug the HDD, the PC works perfectly.
I have seen a youtube video:

" drive's heads getting stuck on the platters. "
Would you recommend this procedure, as I have not done this before? As you also know the situation, I cannot go outside, I have to do this myself.
I think this might be the only way to repair it, if the head is stuck on the platter. But is there any other way?
Thanks!
