Hi. Need some help please.

I just built a new system (my 4th bulid, so I have a bit of experience).

i5 3450, ASRock H61m-HVS, 2x4gig ddr3 ram.

Everything is connected properly. The cpu and mobo are new, everything else came out of a fully working machine.

New build powers on, all fans run, cpu fan runs, hdds spin, dvd drive spins. But the monitor says no signal, and the mobo
emits NO BEEPS.

Googled the problem and possible solutions were -

PSU faulty or not powerful enough - Not the problem.
CPU improperly seated - It's seated perfectly.
RAM improperly seated - They're seated properly.
Mobo shorting out somewhere - it's not.
Mobo speaker not working - it is, as i checked in another pc.

I'm thinking the mobo is broken cause of the lack of display, and there being no post beeps. I even turned it on with no ram inserted and still no beeps. Tried it with no cpu, still no beeps.

Does anyone know if it sounds like my motherboard is faulty?

Thanks in advance.
