You guys should mention the Humble Bundle sale that's going on for a week. Five DRM-free indie games that all run on Windows, Linux, and OS X, download whichever you want (got all five for Win and Lin just the other night, totally about 1.25 GBs). The sale's a Name-Your-Own-Price deal, and you can choose how much of your purchase goes towards the devs and how much goes to the EFF and Child's Play. I used the Amazon payment option and it's totally painless.

It's a great chance to try some low-key games, support independent developers, gaming for non-Windows platforms, and a couple of worthy charities while you're at it. They've already raised over a quarter million dollars from the sale and it's only been going on since yesterday.

N97 unblocked for $354, now that's tempting.
Though I want to know, why is the HP DV8T always on sale? Like, since the day it was first announced? High volume but low sales or something? I want one, but I'm afraid of HP's famously high failure rate.
