Question Defecting to AMD.... Need guidance on Asus motherboards

Intel just seems to keep stubbing their toe and I am ready for a new build so I am defecting to AMD for the first time in over 15 years.

I generally go with a mid-high range motherboard but am not familiar with the AMD chipsets. My plan is to pick up a 9800X3D......

Which Asus motherboard would you recommend on the higher end? Also, if white was a must, which one would you chose? I have used Asus for my last 4 builds and have had zero issues so I am going to stay loyal

What are you looking from your motherboard purchase, besides dropping a Ryzen 9800X3D onto the socket? Make and model of your case?

I dont necessarily want white, just wanted to know what the best option is. Currently I am running a 12900k w/ Asus ROG Hero board. So, thats the level I would be looking for in the AMD world.

So, which Asus board is on that level? Whats the difference between the B650 and X870, for example?
