can any one tell me if i can use a sparkle ge force 8400 gs 1 gb card in my c521 without upgrading the psu ,280wat

what are the systems spec? for any 280w psu, its usually crap or a sign that you need a completely new rig

yes iknow it's crap but it's all i could get in a hurry when my pressario went pop, amd 64,3 gb ram (soon to be 4) just a stndard dell dimension c521(as you can tell i know little about these things) thanks

yeah, just build a new rig. there isnt much point in adding a video card that can be bottlenecked by old hardware

i would love to build a new one but i wouldn't know where to start, any ideas about a a cheap case (i'm skint) any pointers be nice thanks

can't give a price range ,a build on the cheap is all i can say. could you give me some idea as to what i would need .thanks

as basic build starts around 500, 700 gets you hardware that can play high or a bit better settings, 850 gets you ultra settings for the most part and 1000 will get you SSDs and max out most games.

higher end builds after 1000 has the option for overclocking and dual card configuration options
