Dell inspiron 8200 screen problem

Hello,
I have a dell Inspiron 8200. The screen keeps trying to go to the F8 LCD projector mode.

Any ideas how to correct? Have reloaded OS (XP home).

Have a look at the BIOS settings and see if there's something to disable in there.

To access BIOS usually press Delete key at bootup -- if not press loads of keys -- the screen should say keyboard error and offer the option of entering BIOS.
