Dell Optiplex 7050 micro
BIOS version 1.270.0

I have a M.2 SSd that is good (works in another computer), but does not show up in the Drive section of my BIOS.

M.2 PCIe SSD-0
Type =(none)
Devce ID =(none)

But is see it in the General - System Information section:

PCI Information
Slot1_M.2 = SATA installed
Slot2_M.2 = (Empty)

This is the only M.2 SSD I have installed. I have checked my BIOS setting and removed the battery and waiting and rebooted, with no luck.
The computer sees my 1TB SATA SSD so I can boot, but I would prefer to boot off of smaller M.2 drive.

Any suggestions?

A thought to consider. On SOME mobos one or both SSD slots (especially ones for a SATA-style SSD unit) "overlap" with the a SATA hard drive port in such a way that you must use a particular SATA port for your HDD so that the SSD can use the "overlapping" slot. This is because the SATA controller on the mobo serves both ports but can work with only one of them at a time. I can NOT find in the manual for this computer any mention of this limitation. But contact Dell Tech Support for advice on using both a SATA HDD and a SATA-style SSD in that machine.
