I need a little Monitor Upgrade and my Budget is low after buying the Nvidia 1070, so my simple Question is, can i use the 75Hz with this card and Display? Some says it´s possible and some not, so what is true?

Thx for help.

Solution
A quick look at the manual's specs says 75hz only with Freesync, 60hz for regular 1080 content.
So you will need an AMD GPU if you want the extra 15hz.

Open the Nvidia control panel and create a custom resolution. set to 75hz and test. If it doesnt work the monitor will go black and reset to 60.. but it will work. Enjoy!

Sorry for being late. I recently bought this monitor and get 75hz with my gtx 1060 HDMI connected without any overclock. SO yes you can get 75hz with nvidia. Freesync is something different. I came here because was looking forward to get more than 75hz with this monitor and safe ways for it.

This is an old thread but for those who are looking at this at 2018, do understand that it's possible to use it at 75hz with an Nvidia GPU without overclocking. I've got a GTX 750 Ti and I've been using this monitor at 75hz for a while now without any issues. I was also able to easily get it above 80hz but that's playing with fire a little so I'm not really gonna risk it. After all, the official specifications only mention that it supports 75hz.
