Dell SSD or 840 Pro

I'm getting an Alienware X51. Dell Australia had a deal where they upgraded me to a SSD + 1TB HDD for free. I'm wondering since it doesn't void the warranty to change a drive would I get better performance and life span if I replace the Dell OEM SSD with my lightly used Samsung 840 Pro from my current PC?

between ssds you usually don't see a difference I don't think its worth to change it.
