Dell Studio 540 PSU upgrade

I want to upgrade my power supply so that i can upgrade my graphics card. my question is, does it mater which way the fan is facing in my case. i have a dell studio 540 and my psu mount is at the top of the case. most of the power supplies ive been looking at have a fan on top of them. i was wondering if it matters if the fan is going to be facing the top of my case? or should i find a psu that has a fan blowing out the back like the stock one i have now. the two psu's im looking at are http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371035 and http://www.corsair.com/gs600w.html?___store=es&___from_store=en. thank you for your time and plz feel free to ask any questions if im not being clear on my question

u know use a stock one, id like the corsair model which will do fine, id go with the corsair one defenetely , good wattage 80 plus certified, will give u enought juice for now for a video-card upgrade

i really want the corsair one... the lights arre sick and i know the extra wattage well come in handy. the only thing im worried about is the fan on the psu blowing directly up. my case is solid and has no vents on the top of it so the air wont have any were to go. i feel like the psu well just over heat or somthing. there well probly be less than an inch between the psu and the sealing of my case. wouldnt my computer run cooler if i had the air blowing out the back of my case instead?

The power supply does not blow into the case at all it sucks air from inside the case and pushes it out. The corsair unit will be a very good choice and will ensure you have plenty of power for future upgrades.

oh ok so the fan sucks air in it doesnt blow out? the air comes out the mesh back on the back of the psu? is that what your saying?

if u go to this link u can see were my psu well be mounted the fan for the corsair psu well be on the top. all im woried about is if its ok to have the fan facing the sealing of my case. or would it be better to buy a psu that has a fan blowing out the back like the antec does.

u wont have to worry, it wont over heat, if u get a good quality powersupply ull be able to utilize its power without worrying for hot temps on the ps
