Hi guys, I am confused between these two laptops: Dell XPS 15 9560 (used-like new) with a guarantee from the seller for $799 and the Lenovo Yoga 720 15IKB (new) for $970.
Now, Dell XPS comes with:
i5 7300HQ
Nvidia GTX1050 4GB
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
Touch

And Lenovo Yoga 720 with:
i7 7700HQ
Nvidia GTX1050 2GB
16GB RAM
256GB SSD
Touch 2in1

I am confused about these two. I would have picked Lenovo over Dell for specs, but what about the thermals and build quality? Which of these is a better bang for the buck?

Thanks for the help!

Solution
Dell XPS 15 would be the better choice.

It's better built and comes with 4 GB VRAM which is really important for 1080p gaming.

It has thunderbolt-3 port too.

Lenovo yoga 720 is not that good.

thanks for your opinion. I was just thinking that Lenovo was giving a 2-1 as well in the laptop. And I am a very casual gamer, so even an MX150 would work for me. Plus the CPU is better in Yoga 720 (and it does have a thunderbolt 3). It is just that I thought Dell XPS would have better build quality. So, I want to ask you, do you think just getting the dell XPS for a tad bit better build quality is worth it?

It's worth it.

Dell XPS laptops are probably the best consumer-grades laptops in the world.

but if you really need the 2-in-1 functionality, then you can consider the Lenovo yoga 720.

No, I have a 2-1 laptop and I barely use it as a function. But, I just thought that if the quality is the same, then why not get the 2-1 addon. However, as you clearly suggest, dell will have MUCH better quality.
