I dont think so the rx 480 has 8gb which is future proof and in dx 11 apart from one or two games its faster than the gtx 970 and in dx 12 its inlineor a tad bit slower than gtx 1060.

Also most upcoming games will be dx 12 compatible from now on. DX 12 is here from quite sometime game industry follows the trend quickly. Now devs might not make their engine ground up for dx 12 but they will do optimise them for dx 12 and this always help amd get their async compute to action and hence the fps advantage. On top of this rx 480 can cross fire, which is good considering the 8 GB Vram could be used there.

The R7 360 IS NOT below the 650 Ti. Clearly belongs in the same tier than the 750 Ti; not 2 below.
kinda biased in my opinion

You could jump ahead of your competition by including the new mobile cards (like the GTX 940m, 960m, etc.). Check out the number of people interested in comparing these notebook options with desktop cards. You could just add a column to your chart for the mobile cards to avoid people confusing them with their desktop counterparts.

AMD R9 295X2 should be in same league with GTX1080. Also AMD Radeon Pro Duo is missing. If you look at the Tflops there is no competition for these AMD dual monsters.

There are some odd things that make me confused... According to Passmark, Gtx 750 TI has almost three times higher benchmark performance than Gtx 295. But in this list 750 TI is in a lower tier than Gtx 295... How could this be possible ? Is this dependent on the software that calculates the performance ?

NO fanboy battle plz, stick to the tested result

On what game the chart originated? game developer houses tend to produce their release with better compatibility to AMD, Intel, and nVidia technologies. If the chart refer "performance" as displayed frame per seconds, than on what setting (low, med, hi), given the hierarchy listed graphic core A is more powerful than B, B is better than C1 & C2, and so on... I reckon this chart must've been collected on online reviewer tests, compile all of them, still, this is a beneficial info for most of us, who doesn't want the affordable buy for their favorite game.

Hi Guys, I want to upgrade my current Video card Asus GTX 750ti because it has fps drops on dota 2 ultra settings, not stable on 60fps at 1920 x 1080 resolution

Can you suggest a better Video card that doesn't affect my other components (e.g bottleneck, low power supply) and preferably can make dota 2 run on 100fps ultra settings at 1920 x 1080. Doesn't matter the price as long as it can handle my current setup. I'd want to to just replace my video card then plug and play.

here's my current setup :

- SEASONIC S12II-520 80+(SS-520GB
- FM2+ Kaveri A10-7800 3.9Ghz
- 8GB(1x8GB) KINGSTON HYPERX FURY DDR3 1866 BLACK(HX318C10FW/8)
- Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3
- COOLERMASTER Seidon 120V(RL-S12V-24PK-R1)
- Asus GTX750Ti DirectCUII OC 2GB GDDR5(GTX750TI-DC2OC-2GD5)
- HEC Cougar Spike USB 3.0

If you want smooth game play consider Gsync or freeSync display, either GTX 1060 or Fury Nano will be best pair for a10 7800 at full HD ultra setting. Consider also $150 PSU.

Your PSU is fine if you aren't oc your cpu. Get gtx 760 any higher than that and ur cpu will start to bottleneck. You can try gtx 770 it will bottlenecked by the cpu slightly. In new cards I would recommend rx 470 4GB, it will also be bottleneck but slightly and is a considerable upgrade from gtx 750Ti. Also get one more 8 gb ram stick same type preferably it will give you a slight boost in performance.

Also I think the best option for you is to change sell out your apu and get a i3 6100 with a asrock h110 combo G board it supports ddr 3 and ddr 4 memory. That CPU is quite good and you can upgrade to i5 and i7 later.

Well, so I'd better upgrade to a safer choice than to risk on bottleneck high end GPU.. I'd browser my nearby store, will it fit on my current board and system unit box ?

ASUS ROG STRIX RX 470 OC 4GB GDDR5 256BIT
or this
SAPPHIRE RADEON™ RX 470 OC 4G GDDR5 256BIT

I don't have plans yet to upgrade other components since my next upgrade will be moving to intel setup overall components upgrade.

Asus one is a bit better has better memory and cooling, it also overclock better. But its costlier.

Also getting a more powerful GPU like gtx 1070 will bottleneck. But on the other hand if you are planning to upgrade your cpu and mb combo soon. Then its better to get powerful GPU in that case. But yeah the rx 470 is good for 2 years at full HD.

This stuff is BULLSHIT.. RX480 are better than 1060 in DX12 mode and some DX11, while 1060 are better in most DX11 games, and in select DX12 games. So in fact, it should be on same tier
