I was wondering if anyone know anything about retaining all of your desktop icons, meaning their exact locations on the desktop itself and also executable. All the desktop OS images are the same. Basically I want to retain a user's desktop icons with a script. Once they login to another computer, a login script will run and an exact duplicate of the desktop icons will be there.

Here what Ive been trying but it hasn't been working:

These are the registry keys that Ive exported:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerCLSID
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop
HKEY_CURRENT_USEREnvironment - Export Successful
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktopWindowMetrics
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileListS-1-5-21-823518204-362288127 -1606980848-210406

Also I copy the C:Documents and Settings"Username"Desktop folder over.

The point is Im not here looking for a manual but if anyone have any clues, ideas or suggestion please let me know cause I hit a WALL. Thanks!
